Su-vastika Heavy Duty BESS with Lithium-ion Battery is based on IGBT-based Technology.

No Maintenance at All
Maintenance in the normal Inverter/UPS having the Lead Acid batteries is a big headache as the regular battery water topping is required, creating a security hazard in today’s world.

Bi-Directional Technology
Su-vastika ESS has Bi-directional technology under which the MOSFET circuit converts AC from the power mains into DC to charge the battery. In the absence of current from the mains supply, the same MOSFET converts DC stored in the battery into AC used by the appliances in the house. For charging the battery, the bi-directional technology provides pure DC. It uses pure sine-wave output for discharging, which ultimately increases battery life.
Isolation Transformer
Su-vastika BESS comes with Isolation Transformer, the most critical parameter for weak neutral or weak ground. All the developing countries have the central problem of weak Neutral and Voltage variations and spike and surges, which are absorbed by the Isolation transformer, but in High-Frequency Inverter without Isolation Transformer, failure start happening in these conditions.
Ability to handle Overload
In Su-vastika Battery ESS, we have added a special overload feature. In case of overload running, it will take overload protection and give beeps to inform the customer of the overload situation. Meanwhile, it will take 3 Retries to keep the BESS running until the customer can reduce the load to avoid sudden darkness in the house/office.
Very Long Life compared to Traditional Inverter/UPS.
The ESS can work smoothly for 50 years with very little maintenance. The life of the lithium battery will be no less than ten years, which is very cheap compared to the Lead Acid battery, as we need to change the Lead Acid battery within 2 to 3 years of usage.
More back up time in less capacity of battery ESS
The Lithium LifePO4 battery has a C1 rating. In contrast, the Lead Acid Tubular battery comes with a C20 rating, so once the Inverter/UPS is loaded with 8O% capacity, then the tubular battery backup reduces as this is meant for C20 capacity, but the Lithium C1 battery capacity remains the same for any percentage of the load.
Lead Acid battery, like a tubular battery, takes 15 hours of charging to provide a backup of 1 to 2 hours maximum daily. At the same time, the ESS can be charged and given backup five times a day. So if one installs a 50 Ah Lithium battery compared to a 150 tubular battery, then the backup time provided 50Ah by a Lithium battery in intermittent power cuts will be more than a 150 tubular battery in 24 hours.
Lithium Battery ESS is Cheaper than Traditional Inverters with Lead acid batteries
The life of the battery in the Lithium is more than 12 years for home and office backup purposes as the cycle life pf Lithium ion battery is 3000 cycles compared to a Lead Acid battery which gives a maximum of 400 cycles, that too if you do the proper maintenance by filling the battery with water topping in time. Lithium has 6 to 8 times the life cycle of a tubular battery, which will have a life of 12 years, in which period you will be changing at least four Lead acid batteries. So the cost of 5 Lead acid batteries compared to one Lithium battery is too low.
Secondly, the Lithium battery is a C1 battery, so one can install 50% of the battery to get the backup from the Battery ESS compared to Inverter/UPS. So one can install a 75Ah battery of Lithium compared to the 150Ah tubular battery, giving the same backup time as on a 600Watt load.
From all angles, a Lithium battery is cheaper than Lead Acid tubular battery. If we take the cost of a 70Ah Lithium battery compared to a 150Ah tubular battery, the price is almost 30 to 40% extra initially, but the life is a minimum of 4 times where the Lithium wins in the pricing part.

Weight and Space required to install Inverter/UPS Vs Battery ESS
Battery ESS consumes 1/4th the space as compared to traditional home Inverter/UPS with Lead acid batteries.
The weight of a 70 Ah battery of Lithium compare to a Tubular Lead Acid battery is 6 Kg compare to 60 Kgs of tubular battery weight.
The size of the Inverter/UPS with the tubular battery cant be compared, and the space required to keep the tubular battery along with the Inverter UPS is too big. Secondly, you need an area with open space as the tubular battery has lead fumes. Battery ESS can be kept even in your drawing rooms with no risk of fumes coming out of it

Installing an ordinary Inverter/UPS with a Tubular Lead Acid battery is a health hazard as we install a lead fumes machine in our house or office, which is banned from all the other items available in the market. There is a buzz for Lead-Free water, Toys, electronic components, pencils etc.

Freedom to get ESS with Solar Features (Optional)
Battery ESS by Su-vastika also comes with a solar feature, charging batteries using solar power. This way, the cost of the system can be recovered in just 2-3 years since the cost of power generation using Solar Panels is very low, and they also last up to 25 years, which will further reduce the running costs.
The Solar-based ESS can be installed in various places where the space for solar panels is there, solar can be properly utilized, and the cost to produce the electricity will be very low; there is no alternative to such a cheap electricity cost.
Battery charging will depend on the size of the solar panels installed and the size of the external solar charge controller. In this case, the Heavy-Duty behaves like a Grid Solar ESS, and it can cut off the mains supply and run completely on solar and batteries.
