Umesh Balani – Umesh is the founding Director of Rotomag, with over 30 years of experience in steering the business of electric drives, transmission systems and solar pumps. His leadership has been central to shaping the company’s strategic direction, operational excellence, and creating the footprint of our overseas business. Throughout his career, he has combined technical insight with business acumen to identify new business opportunities, nurture the leadership teams, scale manufacturing capabilities, and align product development with evolving market needs.
He is an Electronics Engineer from Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidyalay, SP University and an MBA graduate from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai.
Neelam Balani – is the Director of IT, Neelam is a seasoned operations and systems leader at Rotomag with 30 years of experience in research, education and business operations. She has played a critical role in various functional areas at Rotomag including international sales, operations and quality. During last 5 years she has been leading digital transformation of all our business as well as the operating systems and processes.
She is a MSc, M,Phil and PhD in Biotechnology as well as Bachelor’s in Business Administration from ICFAI, and has completed 1 year course in Operations Management from IIM-Lucknow.
Santanu Nath Bhaumik is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance. He currently serves as Managing Director – Corporate Finance at Tangerine X.
Throughout his career, Santanu has held key leadership roles across a wide spectrum of financial institutions, showcasing deep expertise in strategic advisory, capital structuring, and corporate growth initiatives. His work has consistently focused on enabling businesses to navigate complex financial decisions and drive long-term value.
Santanu holds a postgraduate degree in Finance from the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad, and a bachelor’sdegreeinMechanicalEngineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. His multidisciplinary academic foundation, coupled with his extensive industry experience, makes him a trusted and insightful advisor in the corporate finance landscape.
