In another scenario both the grid Power is also available and the solar power is also available than the Grid power will be running the house load and the solar power will charge the battery. Another scenario is that Grid is available and solar is not available in that case the battery will be charged and Grid power will be running the load. Mostly it will be the night mode or a cloudy day and battery be kept will be kept charged through the grid so that in case the grid fails than back up is given by the battery.
