Temperature Resilience: Lead-acid batteries require ATC charging to compensate for performance fluctuations due to temperature changes. Lithium-ion batteries are far more resilient to temperature variations, offering consistent performance in India’s diverse climates. The chargers available in the market for the charging of Lead-Acid batteries do not have any ATC (Automatic temperature compensation) feature, which is why in winter, E rickshaws do not get enough mileage compared to the hot season.
