Hassle free Maintenance
Maintenance is required in In-built lithium BESS while in SMF-based built in UPS need to change the battery, and sometimes multiple SMF batteries need to equalize over six months. The Inbuilt lithium BESS has the BMS system to control the parameters of the Lithium battery.
As compared to Lead Acid batteries, no water topping is required which creates a security hazard also in today’s world. Lithium batteries are made of Lithium LifePO4 cells which are combined and sealed in a battery pack. Fast Charging
SMF battery will charge in 10 hours minimum, whereas the Lithium battery will charge in 2 hours in Inbuilt Lithium BESS. The charger size in the Inbuilt UPS is very small as the SMF battery is of small size and needs to charge in 10 hours, whereas the Lithium battery capacity is higher and needs to charge in 2 hours, so it needs a fast charger of higher capacity.
No Switching Time

Very Long Life compared to Traditional Inverter/UPS.
Inbuilt Lithium battery Life is a minimum of 10 years and can last for 12 years, and the Lead acid battery lasts only a maximum of 2 years.
The life of the lithium battery will be no less than ten years which is very cheap compared to the Lead Acid battery as we need to change the Lead Acid battery within 2 to 3 years of usage
Bi-Directional Technology
Su-vastika ESS has Bi-directional technology under which MOSFET circuit converts AC from the power mains into DC to charge the battery. In the absence of current from the mains supply, the same MOSFET converts DC stored in the battery into AC used by the appliances in the house. For charging the battery, the bi-directional technology provides pure DC. It uses pure sine-wave output for discharging, which ultimately increases battery life.
Isolation Transformer
Su-vastika ESS comes with Isolation Transformer which is the most important parameter when it comes to be weak neutral or weak ground. All the developing countries have the major problem of weak Neutral and Voltage variations and spike and surges which are absorbed by the Isolation transformer but in High Frequency Inverter without Isolation Transformer, the failure start happening in these conditions.
Ability to handle Overload
In Su-vastika Battery ESS, we have added a special overload feature. In case of overload running, it will take overload protection and start giving beeps to let know the customer of overload situation. Meanwhile, it will take 4 Retries to keep the UPS running till the time customer can reduce the load so that there is no sudden darkness in the house/office.
Saving in electricity bill
The Lead Acid battery wastes a lot of energy and takes time to charge the battery. The tubular battery keeps charging even when completely charged by taking a trickle charge, an extra electricity bill for the user. If one has 800 VA inverter/UPS installed, then 1 unit is consumed by the inverter/UPS whether the power cut happens or not.
Whereas the lithium battery-based ESS stops the charging once the battery is fully charged and stops the electricity consumption.
More back up time in less capacity of battery ESS
Normal in-built UPS can work for 15 to 30 minutes whereas our models can work from 1 hour back up time to 3 hours or more back up time.
The Lithium LifePO4 battery has a C1 rating. In contrast, the Lead Acid Tubular battery comes with a C20 rating, so once the Inverter/UPS is loaded with 8O% capacity, then the tubular battery backup reduces as this is meant for C20 capacity, but the Lithium C1 battery capacity remains the same for any percentage of the load.
Lead Acid battery, like a tubular battery, takes 15 hours of charging to provide a backup of 1 to 2 hours maximum daily. At the same time, the ESS can be charged and given backup five times a day. So if one installs a 50 Ah Lithium battery compared to a 150Ah tubular battery, then the backup time provided 50Ah by a Lithium battery in intermittent power cuts will be more than a 150Ah tubular battery in 24 hours.
Lithium Battery ESS is Cheaper than Traditional Inverters with Lead acid batteries
Having built SMF battery and Lithium inbuilt BESS, has a price difference of 50%, but the life is five times the battery life of the same capacity.
The life of the battery in the Lithium is more than 12 years for home and office backup purposes as the cycle life pf Lithium LifePO4 battery is 3000 cycles compared to a Lead Acid battery which gives a maximum of 400 cycles, that too if you do the proper maintenance by filling the battery with water topping in time. Lithium has 6 to 8 times the life cycle of a tubular battery, which will have a life of 12 years, in which period you will be changing at least four Lead acid batteries. So the cost of 5 Lead acid batteries compared to one Lithium battery is too low.
If we take the cost of a 70Ah Lithium battery compared to a 150Ah tubular battery, the price is almost 30 to 40% extra initially, but the life is a minimum of 4 times where the Lithium wins in the pricing part.

Weight and Space required to install Inverter/UPS Vs Battery ESS
Battery ESS consumes 1/4th the space as compared to traditional home Inverter/UPS with Lead acid batteries. The built-in Lithium battery size is 1/4th the size of an SMF Lead Acid battery and 1/4th the weight of a lead Acid SMF battery. The battery density in the SMF is higher compared to Lithium batteries.
The size of the Inverter/UPS with the tubular battery can not be compared, and the space required to keep the tubular battery along with the Inverter UPS is too big. Secondly, you need an area with open space as the tubular battery has lead fumes. Battery ESS can be kept even in your drawing rooms with no risk of fumes coming out of it

Digital warranty

Peak Power tariff-ready BESS
The one important feature that makes it future-ready is the programming for the Peak Power tariff-ready BESS, which can control the power storage and usage per peak power timing.
