Overload Status
- The Grid and Solar Sharing for Charging: Depends on the solar power availability and battery charged condition, If the battery is not charged properly and solar power is not sufficient to charge the battery then the Grid power will also start charging the battery along with the Solar Power so that battery remain in charged condition in case of power failure.When Mains and Solar are both available, the Solar PCU will use the following logic to determine which source to use for battery charging:
- If the Mains(Grid) is available and the solar panels generate low current than the set charging current for the battery charging, then the Solar PCU will take the remaining current from the mains(grid) for charging the battery. It is called Grid sharing with Solar energy. For example; if the set charging current is 15A and solar panels generation is 10A then the remaining 5A current will take from Mains(grid).
- If the mains(grid) is available and the solar panels are producing more current than the required current by the battery for charging, then the Solar PCU only use the solar panel’s current to charge the battery.
