Su-vastika’s Heavy Duty online UPS 20KVA/360V System supply No-break, clean & constant Power to loads. UPS is connected between the Mains and the load. It protects the load against Mains disturbances like Blackout, Brownouts, Sags & Surges, Voltage variations and Fluctuations, Frequency variations, Spikes, Distortion and Noise. This UPS model is a Double Conversion True Online Uninterruptible Power Supply, best suited for all your critical load.
Built in Isolation Transformer
Our online UPS have Built-in Isolation Transformer. Isolation also referred to as galvanic isolation, implies that no direct path exists for the current to flow from the source to the load. An isolation transformer provides isolation between the electrical devices and the source powering these devices. In other words, with an isolation transformer, the output power circuit is electrically and physically isolated from the input power circuit. As a result, the isolation transformer provides safety to the users and the appliances.
What is the difference between high frequency and galvanic isolation based online UPS?
An isolation transformer is an extremely necessary part of On-Line UPS as it protects the connected load, because of galvanic isolation which separates the input and output supplies resulting in protection against electrical noise, surges and spikes.
Online UPS with an isolation transformer are robust, have proper grounding and a better voltage conversion in comparison with high frequency based online UPS.
Applicable areas of Online UPS
Working of Online UPS
Online Ups works in three modes:
1. Mains Mode: When Mains supply is available then it is first applied to the rectifier/charger section where rectifier circuit converts the applied AC input into a DC output which is fed to the battery in order to charge the battery. DC signal fed to the inverter section is converted into AC signal which is further applied to the critical loads.
2. Battery Mode: During the absence of grid supply power will be drawn from the battery and applied to the inverter section where it is converted into AC power which is further applied to the critical loads.
3. Manual Bypass Mode: In manual bypass mode, the input AC Grid supply is fed directly to critical loads. This mode is used only for maintenance & at the time of UPS breakdown (in emergency condition only).
IGBT based
Our Heavy Duty Online UPS are specially designed for any type of Motor, Compressor & IT loads as they works on IGBT based technology.
Cold Start System
This specially designed feature starts the inverter in Battery Mode, in the absence of power from mains (grid power).
Double Conversion
Double conversion means that the power is converted twice: when mains is available a rectifier converts the input power from AC to DC power, for storing into the battery.
The inverter then converts the DC power back to AC. Since the UPS decouples the load from the mains supply, hence ensuring voltage and frequency stability as well.
Wide Input voltage Range
The output of online UPS should be 230V±2% in case of 1phase, and Frequency should be 50±0.2Hz. Irrespective of mains input supply. (Input voltage range is 165V-275V±10V AC).
Generator compatible
The online UPS can normalise and adapt to voltage fluctuations and is compatible with your existing generator, and is the perfect option to pair with Domestic Generators.
Manual bypass through rotary switch
The UPS has a Rotary switch, which when rotated manually, bypasses the entire load on mains electrical supply
Solar compatible
This specially designed feature starts the Online UPS in Battery Mode, in the absence of power from mains (grid power).
Non Polluting
As Online UPS runs on batteries and is therefore completely non-polluting, no-fumes, no-noise and can be comfortably placed in any commercial facility
Longer battery life
The Heavy-Duty UPS is built to keep your battery healthy. It is designed for efficient charging and discharging, hence keeping the battery running longer with reduced upkeep.
Soft Start System
This advanced technology gradually increases voltage to let your machinery ease-in. preventing electrical and mechanical shocks to the sensitive and costly machinery in your facility.
Crest Factor
Online UPS can take up to 3 times its load capacity. You can rely on it to support your facility and machinery during a voltage spike. It also intelligently reminds you to turn off the extra machinery so the load is reduced.
